Jay Polsons VW Golf
Its always hard to start a car feature and saying something original when it comes to opening lines, especially when it comes to Jay Polson's Golf. Jay is no stranger to having features done as he appeared in the best of british edition of Max Power a few years ago with his sleek liquid yellow pug 106.
Since then, Jay has really switched the game and has found himself leaving the french scene and now firmly on the track to all things low. Now , Jays VW is no slouch as its packing awhopping 230bhp thanks to a few tweaks under the bonnet such as a full APR remap, BMC intake and a few other choice modifications. With the engine taken care of it was all down to the rims. Wheels can make or break a car but when jay recently fitted the 18 inch porka rims he knew he had it nailed thanks to ' the lows' provided by his Eibach prostreet coilovers.
The feature with FNM was ''always gunna happen'', explains jay & friend jamie.'' Its just gotta be done '' explains jay and of course we here at FNM towers where never going to say no to such a good looking car.
Standing back with flashgun in hand the gleaming red paint against a rather mundane white wall really catches passer-bys attention, especially with a bunch of young lads. '' Sweet car mate '' was one of the recurring comments from the group and d'ya know what.. they're right, jays VW ticks all the right boxes , performance, stance and looks all in a perfect red package.
