Report : JDM Allstars / Teeside

With the bank holiday weekend nearing an end for most we thought we would make the most of it. Niall had invited a few of the FNM faithful through to Teeside to watch a bit of drifting and show some of our cars in the traders section ,Cracking sunny weather & a gap in conventional shows for us so we thought..why the hell not !

JDM Allstars is something that sprung up on our radar late last year but due to the amount of shows we where attending we found it difficult to get time to attend.. but with plenty of planning we knew we had to hit this.

JDM Allstars has now been rebranded to Drift Allstars to incorporate some of the foreign drivers and some different motors such as the BMW's which hardly fall under the  ' japanese' category and in our opinion where some of the best drifters on the day and put on an excellent display.

The vibe of this event was a lot different from any other that we had been to and was a lot more relaxed which unfortunately meant our polished and waxed cars had to travel across a dusty, non low car friendly car park to get into the event and with some not to friendly comments from a few of the stewards the day wasn't looking all to good within the first 10 minutes.
After crawling into the autodrome to avoid bottoming out we where met by Niall who instantly changed our moods being friendly and efficient and parked us straight up with thanks to the very beautiful and polite ticketing girls.

A quick detail later we where ready to catch some of the drift action....

All in all it was a fantastic day out, decent views of the action, decent selection of cars on show to have a look around but their could do to be a few more show cars for the next one in our opinion. A good day had and well worth the journey.
